Mary Ann has been focused on environmental issues for many years. As a Facility Manager, Mary Ann was instrumental in the construction of the first commercial LEED certified office building in Toronto in 2005. Mary Ann has:
run as a candidate several times for the Green Party of Canada
sponsored the motion for London City Council to declare a climate emergency in 2019
led the Environment Committee at First-St. Andrew’s United Church
trained as a Climate Reality presenter by Al Gore, 2020
helped organize the 2019 Global Climate Strike in London, which attracted 2,000 marchers

Johann focuses on the challenges, opportunities and solutions at the intersections of: diversity, equity and inclusion; human innovation; the Sustainable Development Goals; social impact investing; and all framed by global climate challenges, through JouleWatt.
With a background in corporate finance, alternative investments and start-ups, Johann integrates and works with:
people [character, change and culture];
portfolios of opportunities [risk, reward and impact]; and
processes [agile, story and scalable], working towards a vision of Advancing Prosperity by Fostering Cultures of Sustainable Innovation.
Johann is the liaison with the City of London and Project Neutral.
Winter is the Senator for Clark Road Secondary School on the Thames Valley District School Board Student Advisory Council (2020-2021). School Senators represent their school's student body and help create and maintain a safe inclusive and equitable environment for all students.
Winter represented Climate Action London on London’s 2021 online town hall with local MPs to have a discussion on the environment and drive meaningful policy change.
